Food is more than fuel, it’s a passion. This is what drives chef and founder Ethan Ballan.


Ethan’s concept is to serve up delicous, fresh food sourced from local suppliers to your event, whether it be at your dining table, garden, village hall or marquee. 

Ethan's background in food has taken him from Bury to Brunei.  Growing up in a close-knit environment with a focus on home cooked meals, he's gone on to work for Michael Caines's Abode, the San Carlo Group in Manchester, refined his professional pastry skills at Mayfair's Dorchester Hotel, and has operated his own restaurant in Ramsbottom.

His burning ambition, however, has been to bring his skill and enthusiasm to your table in a very British & Northern way channelling his passion for food into something unique, that evokes a cosmopolitan standard of excellence while also being very much about the local area and his own roots.
